Diving Frigate Bird- Photo Friday

Submitted by Manzanillo Blogger on Friday, 16 January 2009No Comment

Manzanillo birds

This frigate bird is picking up a fish thrown on the beach by children
outside the Posada, Las Brisas. The dramatic photo shows just how amazing it is to watch these birds in action. We love to watch the pelicans and other birds dive bomb into the surf to catch fish.

So sorry for not having a post this week about Manzanillo. The reason, in part, is that my lovely wife and I had a bit of a vacation this week, as it was our two year anniversary. We stayed at the resort Boca De Iguanas out close to La Manzanilla and Barra de Navidad to celebrate. Let me tell you, it was a treat indeed! But I'm not going to spoil anything here, we will be sharing a full review of the place with you all next week, along with a few other treats that we have prepared. (do I hear a best taco stands in Manzanillo post, a delicious Mexican Molé recipe, and a new exciting poll on the way??) Stay tuned!

Submit your photos of Manzanillo Mexico! You could be famous!

We review all the submitted pictures each week and post the best for our Photo Friday feature.
