Manzanillo Blog News And A Request
Well, it's been a while since we've posted on Manzanillo Blog. First of all we'd like to thank everybody that emailed with concerned emails. It's nice to have emails in my inbox with the title: "Are you dead?"
Thanks for your concern, and we are happy to say that the news of our deaths has been greatly exaggerated. Honestly between work, new projects, and obligations we have not had the time to post on the website like we would like to. Turns out making a living online is hard work. This is not to say that there has been no news for Manzanillo. There has been plenty going on: we had our first near-miss hurricane of the year which made for a fun little storm with awesome waves. There has been a ton of construction going on at the MZO airport with a new bypass/overpass to get into the airport. There has also been lots of news going on with the port, election campaigns, and much much more.
We are making this request to those who would be interested: Write for Manzanillo Blog please! If you have a news item, restaurant review, or Manzanillo related story to share, please email us and we will post it on the blog.
If there are any who are interested as well, we'd be happy to promote them to official Manzanillo Blog writers with all the privileges that such a position entails... (we'd like those privileges too... so if you figure out what they are then be sure to share) We'd love this to become a community driven website where we get to hear stories from those who are likely better informed than we are about the goings on of Manzanillo. Every article on our blog is featured on Lonely Planet's website and read by many thousands of people interested in Mexico. So who knows, you could get famous too!
We will still be posting, hopefully with more regularity, but we'd love the help of the Manzanillo community as well to keep this the best and most current website for Manzanillo news and happenings.

Its hard work managing multiple websites isn’t it! I hate it when my favourite bloggers disapear - but I can understand it being based in Mexico - you are probably on the beach right!
