Top 10 Mexico Blogs
There are many great Mexico Blogs out there, and while we are still getting lots of traffic from the Lonely Planet Awards, I wanted to give them a shoutout so they could get the exposure they so much deserve. If you are an expat in Mexico, interested in learning more about this amazing country, or suffer from MOB (A term our friends in the Trip Advisor Manzanillo Forums informed me about, meaning: Manzanillo On the Brain) then you will certainly want to check out these blogs, and I've included a sampling of some very interesting posts. Enjoy!
A great resource for finding the latest news and happenings in Mexico. Updated daily with interesting current events and opinion articles. Very informative, run by Ana Maria Salazar who also hosts a Mexico news radio program in English.
Great website written by Cox News Correspondent Jeremy Schwartz who is based in Mexico City. Presents a very objective look at Mexico and the current events happening around the country.
Not sure how they get their info, but you get the latest and greatest happenings in the Mexico government that you're not going to find anywhere else (unless you speak Spanish or know some VERY informed individuals). A must read!
One of our favorite expat blogs written by John. He has a way with words and pictures. A wonderful writer and brilliant photographer, John has an eye for detail and can make the everyday seem spectacular. Each of his posts are beautiful and very informative. You can learn a lot about the daily life of Mexico and interesting quirks from reading Johns blog.
Great all around Mexico information resource. Full of wonderful articles submitted by like minded people who are passionate about this country and its people.
Nice personal expat blog with some interesting posts, written by Rosana Hart who is a Spanish teacher living in Mexico.
Want to learn Spanish, I mean REALLY learn Spanish? Well you have to check out Bob Mrotek's blog here. He gives you an indepth look at the language and the idioms with their meanings. Plenty of extremely valuable gems here that your Spanish teacher never told you about. He also writes some very informative pieces on Mexico history and culture. Another Must read.
As you can probably see, that's only seven of the top ten blogs. What are your favorite blogs about Mexico? We'd love to add it to the list.

Just wanted to explain that although I write a great deal about learning Spanish, I am not a Spanish teacher. Anyone hearing me utter two sentences would be able to tell that!
What I am is a former librarian who has always been fascinated by how people learn. When I noticed that a sizable percentage of the Americans and Canadians I meet in the Lake Chapala area know vitually no Spanish, I included learning Spanish as one of my blogging topics. That led to my adding another blog at LearnSpanishRapidly.com/blog/. I talk about HOW to learn Spanish, things like learning a word a day and websites you can use.
