Real Posada- Hotel Review
Hotel Real Posada is a newcomer in Manzanillo. There are so many Manzanillo resorts here, it's nice to see some of the little guys get some press. Less than a year old, it still has the "new hotel smell." Some friends of ours recently had the pleasure of staying here, and from their glowing reviews, we had to check it out ourselves. We were not disappointed.
This small/medium sized hotel is located just South of the Santiago Saturday market, across the street from the Santiago Garden, HSBC, and the ETN bus office. Real Posada has about 15-20 rooms and the owners have big plans to expand the hotel next year, even installing a pool for their guests. You won't miss the pool though, a stunning beach with black volcanic sand is just around the corner. What the lack for in size, though, they make up for in quality.
The rooms practically shine with cleanliness. We checked a few and they were all spotless. They even smell like super clean. (What is that clean hotel room smell anyway?) Nicely furnished and as spacious as you need, each room has a new flat panel tv, dresser, table, and either two full sized beds or one king size. Manzanillo's heat got you down? Each room is air conditioned with nice new, and silent, air conditioners!
Our favorite feature is the free WiFi internet that is available to guests in their rooms. Forgot your computer? There is a computer available in the lobby that is free to use. Speaking of the lobby, here you will also find a small area with complimentary coffee and tea. Also they have a selection of pain killers, stomach aids, and headache medicine that is complimentary if you happen to have the misfortune of needing some on your trip.
The room rates are among the best value we've seen. Single rooms with king size beds are 500 pesos, double rooms with two full size beds are 600. The owners are extremely friendly and English speaking. The hotel is centrally located, spotlessly clean, and less than five minutes from a great beach. Best of all, they have free WiFi internet!
We declare this to be our very favorite value Manzanillo hotel. If you are traveling on a budget with your family, or just want to save on hotel fares, this is the place to stay. Their website is coming soon. For now you can call and make a reservation at 334-1212.

This is a great little place! My wife gives it two thumbs up, and she is VERY choosy. The location is very good too with lots of parking. The Olas Altas beach is one of the best in Manzanillo and it is only a short walk away.
Great place for visitors to stay!
Very good review too. Keep up the good work!

Great hotel, very clean and modern. The location is convienient to
shopping and restaurants. The pool is new and the restaurant is excellent. Staff speaks English well, having coffee available in the morning is a nice touch. We highly recommend this hotel, for the price, service, and location to everything especially the beach,
you won’t be disappointed.
