Manzanillo Skimboarding Fiesta 9/13-9/14
For any who are interested, there is a skimboarding contest going on today and tomorrow behind the Nautilius restaurant. It is hosted by X3M, an extreme sports company in Mexico, and the competition starts at 6 in the afternoon both days. Professional and amateur contestants from as far as Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Escondido, Guadalajara, and Laguna Beach will be competing. Even if you do not compete, they put on a great show. We will be there documenting the action for your later reading enjoyment. I will not be competing as a 6'5" man and a skimboard tend not to get along very well.

Update: Tomorrow will be the big day. Competition begins at 9 AM behind Nautilius. Forcast is good- should be a great show!
