Old lady on steps- Photo Friday

The woman in this picture fascinated me. I couldn’t help but wonder what events she had seen? What stories did the lines on her face tell? Lines of laughter, lines of worry, lines from spending a life working in the sun. She sits there wrapped in a blanket, lost in a memory. I snapped the picture and startled her, so I tried to show her on my digital camera assuring her ‘esta bonita, esta bonita.’ But I think her eyes couldn’t make out the picture, she laughed and looked uncomfortable. So I thanked her and left, leaving her in the company of her own memories.
