Locals Only- Photo Friday

Perhaps what I think embodies the spirit of Manzanillo the most are its beaches. Here you see best the spirit that pervades this little city: laid back and tranquil, yet fun loving and innocent. Young lovers holding hands as they walk barefoot in the surf. Kids frolicking in the waves with their friends, engaging in the national sport of mud throwing. Parents happily half buried in the sand forgotten by their children as grandparents watch with concerned faces from their umbrella castles. It paints a picture of nature, peace, and healing that is in scarce supply elsewhere.

Photo Friday is going to be a regular feature on this blog. Do you have any photos you would like to share of beautiful Manzanillo and surrounding areas? If so send them to us with a brief description! We will select the best and post them on the next Photo Friday. You could be famous!
