$100 off Kindle Amazon book reader

Submitted by Manzanillo Blogger on Tuesday, 26 August 2008One Comment

I usually don't take notice of this stuff, much less post it on this blog. But I am a big reader, and I know how hard it can be to find English books here. So I thought I would share this deal with you all. Amazon has an ebook reader called Kindle that has gotten some very good reviews lately. The idea is that you can automatically connect to the internet with the Kindle ebook reader and buy and download books right to your device. It is simple to use, and the prospect of having unlimited reading material would appeal to any avid reader. They are offering it for $100 off the normal price to their certified associates for a limited time. I thought I'd pass the deal on to any of you who were interested.

oh dear, do I ever hear you on the book selection. We used to have a kind of okay used (English) book store but it went out of business. The situation is quite dire, but among the gringas I know, we do okay. Luckily they seem to like nonfiction quite a bit, which is my prediliction as well.

Hope you get to stay well-read! I’m in a no-more-tech-acquiring phase right now (well-deserved), so I’ll have to stick to the bound versions for now!

Manzanillo Blogger- It’s so true, nothing can replace the feel and smell of a well read book.
